Marinos Fasouliotis (Initiative Leader)
ACCA, BA (Hons), MSc
Marinos is an Audit Manager with 10 years of experience in the audit field in various industries. He is a member of the ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and ICPAC (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus).
He is also an independent investment advisor concerning investment property opportunities in London for investors who are willing to invest as well as to assist them in the property development and management.
His passion has always been swimming since young age; he loves travelling and wants to inspire and guide young professionals through mentoring to choose their ideal path for their academic career.

 

My name is Eirini Christodoulou and I am Senior Associate Lawyer at a boutique law firm in Cyprus.
Being a lawyer can be very demanding sometimes and also very unpredictable which also makes it so interesting, as you never get bored!
I love my job as it allows me to read and research and find solutions to problems and hence assist people. Apart from work, I love spending my spare time with people either during a cup of coffee or participating in various events. I am passionate about travelling and I really enjoy going to the gym and swimming. My life goal is to help and inspire people with all my heart and soul.

 

 

 

Chrysso Aristidou
Senior Loss Prevention, Safety and Quality Officer
Chrysso is working with one of the leading Shipmanagement firms with her specific areas of expertise being maritime Quality, Safety and Security, and a combined experience of 20 years in the shipping industry.
Apart from the above, responsibilities have covered various aspects of the shipmanagement sector with experience on cargo as well as passenger/cruise vessels, with range on Technical Management, Maritime Accidents, Crisis Management, Risk Assessment and Change Management.
She loves learning new things, new challenges and she shares her experience and mentors with any chance she gets young professionals.

 

Angelos Menelaou, DProf., MSc, BSc., FICS
Angelos Menelaou is the Head of the Department in Maritime Transport and Commerce at Frederick University. He has some 25 years’ experience in the maritime industry, gained across a wide range of roles including shipping economics, accounting and human resources management. He is currently the Accounts Payable and Project Manager of Marlow Navigation Co Ltd. one of the world’s largest crew management companies.   His research focused on workflow processes aiming at improving productivity in ship management organizations.  He is the author of a book with title: ‘Enhancement of Productivity through an Integrated Crew Management System’. As a passionate and committed education promoter, Dr Menelaou has played a prominent role in the development of a focused shipping industry studies in Cyprus being the Course Leader of the first accredited maritime academic degree program in the country.

 

Dr Christina Tsolaki is a Bank Officer in Eurobank where she processes loan applications for corporate and commercial clients as well as for international and private banking clients.  Christina is working for over 26 years in the Banking sector – she worked for 23 years in Ledra Cooperative Bank and the last three years in Eurobank.
Christina has obtained a DBA in 2016 from Northcentral University in Phoenix USA, with specialization in HRM and since then she is a lecturer in two colleges.  She likes research and has already published two articles and recently became a Certified Peer Reviewer.  She loves to interact with students, help them with their thesis as well as to act as mentor in several cases and inspire people do what they want.
Christina is married, has two grown up children and lives in Nicosia.  She adores traveling, reading, Pilates, self-development, creativity and meeting with friends and new people.
