ARE WE ENCOURAGING PASSION AND CREATIVITY IN OUR WORKPLACES?
Maravilhosa organized a Brainstorming event which gathered various industries and age groups, from the public and private sector.
Hosted by Cyprus Marine Club at Londa Hotel in Limassol on the 28th of May 2019, the first session of the newly launched Brainstorming Series “Are we encouraging Passion and Creativity in our workplaces?” was followed by a networking Cocktail Reception.
Maravilhosa Founder & Owner, Muriel Matta, decided to create a new initiative to develop her yearly Shipping panel discussion into an interactive and practical Brainstorming Series, open to all industries, and has chosen Cyprus Marine Club for her initiative.
The opening Keynote Speech was delivered by the Shipping Deputy Minister to the President, Ms. Natasa Pilides, and the welcome speech was delivered by Capt. Eberhard Koch, Chairman, CEO and Partner, Oesterreichischer Lloyd Shipping Group.
Initiatives were shared for discussion under three main topics: Education and career path in the workplace, Government and Public Affairs, Charity and Corporate Social Responsibility, and were addressed respectively by Taleen Tchalikian (HR Director, Celestyal Cruises), Andreas Chrysostomou (CEO, Marine Fields Holdings and Chief Strategy Officer, Tototheo Maritime), and Thrasos Tsangarides (Group CEO, UMAR|WSR).
