WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO EXERCISE PATIENCE
We live in a world where most things have to be done fast. However, at times, taking longer to act or react, or even not act at all, is worthwhile.
Patience helps you appreciate the moment.
Quite often, motivated by the enthusiasm of a milestone, or the disappointment of a failure, you move fast to embark on the next objective, or a higher aim.
However, if you do not hurry, and instead, take longer to appreciate a recent experience, you reap the benefits.
Slowing down and taking time to restart.
Pausing, taking time to think and be mentally ready for new challenges, are key to restarting on firm ground. There is a process that needs to take place, and this will affect the results you seek.
Patience with others, as they make progress.
Similarly, people around you need their own time to experiment, to learn, and to change, if they wish.
With patience and commitment, you get the opportunity to understand yourself and others during your interactions.
Patience is a skill you develop.
Clearly, it takes determination and experience to be patient under specific circumstances. You practice patience in different ways and in various situations; while you keep developing this asset, you realize it is rewarding on many levels.
Patience makes a difference and goes a long way.
Hence, keep working on what you want in life, with composure and intent.
It may not always be a smooth road, but the ride will be worth it.
