THE REAL REASONS YOU DON’T HAVE TIME

The real reasons you don’t have time

We all say it: “I don’t have time”, and often, it means something else, unrelated to time.
We don’t have time when an activity may be boring, or beyond our comfort zone. And perhaps when it is not a priority for us.
We don’t have time to do something - we actually wish to accomplish - if it means a change of habits, continuous efforts, discipline, and concessions.

We don’t have time to reflect, to audit our lifestyle and behaviours, to grab a book, to listen to podcasts, and to be mindful of our actions.
We don’t have time to go out of our comfort zone, and learn new skills.

And then one day, we decide to make time, and embrace a growth journey.
Either because we had to (it’s the only way), or because we had enough (pain, maybe).

Next time you say to yourself, or others, that you don’t have time - or that you’re too busy - think about the real reasons. You may indeed not have time. Only you know that for sure.
Or you may have time, but not the drive, not the knowledge, or not the mindset.
However, once you take the decision to actually make time, some of the reasons (or excuses) will gradually fade away.

You see, at first, change needs courage.
The courage to recognize and accept that you need to change, and that you are the only one accountable for your journey.

One of the biggest challenges you will ever face, is believing in yourself.
It is easy to say: "I'm not that strong", or "I can't do it", or "I never did that before".
Try pushing your comfort zone, one step at a time, consistently.
That's when you realize you have more potential than you think.
